MemoXpress: A 10-year-old Boy Saves Money to Buy Smartphone
"DREAMS don't work unless YOU DO" "... no matter how small it is, in time we can enjoy the fruits of our little hobby. It’s a sweet sacrifice!"
Two days before Christmas, while everyone is busy buying, wrapping and preparing gifts for the people they love, a kid decided to give something to himself as a reward for his sweet sacrifice.
Last Thursday, December 23, 2019, Jo E Fil a sales support staff of Jr. MemoXpress located at City Mall Blvd Roxas City, Capiz posted an inspiring photo of a kid –a 10-year-old boy, Royze Zandro De Ocampo who saved money to buy his dream smartphone.
She commended the kid in her post saying that he is a very good kid that saves his money to purchase a smartphone.
Royze’s hobby of saving money motivates and inspires him to buy things he knows he needed this time. His parents seconded his decision of buying a smartphone using his savings because they know that Royze will use the phone not only for entertainment but also for school purposes. Dropping his single coin in his piggy bank brings excitement and a different kind of happiness in him. He also encourages students of his age to do the same, so that as early as now, they can appreciate and value things as a fruit of their little sacrifices.

Truly inspiring how Royze engages himself in doing this kind of habit –saving money. It inspires not only his fellow kids but also those who are teenagers even the working class to save money no matter how small it is. It’ll grow bigger as long as it is consistent.
His smartphone will help him in doing his homework as well as with some of his school research. On the other hand, at his young age, mobile phone game addiction and the likes are rampant nowadays. So as parents, we must guide them in using smartphones properly and responsibly.
