MemoXpress Grandparents Day Celebration: “Techie Lolo’t Lola Natin, Millennials Na Rin! Pa-FB nga!”
Growing Old No More; We Are Growing Strong, Lolo't Lola!
MemoXpress, a company that caters retailing and dealership of smartphones came up with this kind of event to make our Lolos and Lolas experience technologies they don’t have during their younger years. Also, to make them feel the ‘belongingness’ in this generation.
Looking back at our previous years, we have “Lolot lola Techie Muna! You Belong to the Techie Generation” in 2015, “Lolo at Lola, Techie Ka Na! ” in 2016, “Lolo’t Lola Noon, Techie Na Ngayon” in 2017, “Lolo’t Lola, Ibang Level Ka Na!” last year 2018 and this year we have “Techie Lolo’t Lola Natin, Millennials Na Rin! Pa-FB nga!”
Started in 2015, it has been a tradition of MemoXpress to celebrate Grandparents Day with our dear Lolos and Lolas for 5 years now in cooperation with SM Malls and our brand partners.
Grow old no more for we are growing strong, Lolo’t Lola! Just like you who never get tired watching and helping us grow, we will never be tired in making you smile and put happiness in your hearts in return.

Shared MXperience in Techie Lolo't Lola!
This is not for entertainment only, we also want them to be informed and educated enough about the updated and upgraded smartphones.
Technology enthusiasts are called a ‘techie.’ Would you believe and imagine if they are your cool Lolos and Lolas? Ang techie mo naman Lolo and Lola!
Lots of our Lolos and Lolas are really thankful to MemoXpress in conducting an event like this not because of the material things they get but because of the bonding, love, and affection, they get from us. We love you, Lolos and Lolas!
"What have you realized..."
MemoXpress gave smiles at 7 SM Malls nationwide –SM City Sangandaan, SM City Sucat, SM City Puerto Prinsesa, SM City Dasma, SM City Masinag, SM City BF Parañaque, and SM San Jose Del Monte. Different dilemmas and stories my pen and papers are not enough to tell.
I love asking people random questions. You know, having a juicy conversation is something I craved for. While sitting on our chairs, leaning on our tables in front of our computers, I asked my colleagues, “What have you realized or learned in our event?”

Do what you want to do no matter how long and far it will take, you’ll see it’ll be worth it in the end.
“Meron kase dun na attendee, late na sya pero pumunta pa rin sya. Nakita ko dun na grabe yung effort kase syempre matanda na, minsan mas gugustuhin mo na lang magpahinga sa bahay since late ka na rin naman sa event pero pumunta pa rin sya. Tapos ayun, sya yung nabunot dun sa raffle ng smartphone.” -Sir Macks
2. S E L F L E S S N E S S
“Yung mga nakuha kase nila sa raffle like Drone Camera, Powerbank, TV Plus Go pati yung smartphone, di rin naman sila gagamit nun e. Ibibigay lang din nila yun sa mga anak or apo nila kase mas gusto nilang nakikitang masaya yung family nila kahit hindi na sila mismo. Enough na sa kanila yung nakapag enjoy saglit sa event natin” -Sir Carl

It’s really amazing how our Grandparents still think about us at their age. Some are still working to provide something in the family not to be called ‘pabigat’.
3. P A S S I O N
“Don’t let your age overpower your passion.”
I met a singer and song writer, Mr. Edwin A. Negapatan at SM Masinag who’s a nominee of being a National Artist. He sang for us, 2 of his songs entitled “Senior Citizen” and “Puso ng Tahanan”.
“Ang nanay at tatay natin ay may mga title na; Ilaw ng Tahanan at Haligi ng Tahanan. Pano naman tayong mga lolo at lola? Tayo po ay ang ‘Puso ng Tahanan'”, he said.
He went from place to another to share his talent not only with the elderly but to everyone.
Lots of our participants showcase their talents as if they’re as young as millennials.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for supporting MemoXpress and Happy Grandparents Day!
See you again next years Lolos and Lolas!
